allyson.zea
I am looking to find specifically the Hyatt Regency Chicago which it looks like some people have had success with. Right now for the express deals I see 4 stars $153 w/pets, business center, fitness center, restaurant and bed choice. I also see a 4.5 star w/pets, business, restaurant for $179. My dates are Nov. 5-8th. Can you help? Thank you! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. Is the Hyatt (I'm guessing you mean the one on Wacker and not the one on St Clair?) the only acceptable property? Chicago's hugely easy to get around, so unless you absolutely have to be at a particular property, if you can get a good deal at a nearby one it's exceptionally easy to get around the city. Which zone/s are the above two listings in? allyson.zea
This is the exact address: Hyatt Regency Chicago 151 East Wacker Drive Chicago, IL 60601, US This is the hotel I want, because I am attending a conference there. However, if I could get something within walking distance, I would go with that too. The rate the hotel is giving us is $209 per night, but it seems like there could be a better deal. The PL EXPRESS deals I listed above are Millennium Park - Loop - Grant Park Area Hotel for the $153 4 star, and Millennium Park - Loop - Grant Park Area Hotel $179 4.5 star Link to comment
AaronJB
Hot.wire has a 4* for $129 in the Loop area w/Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa, Bathroom Accessible, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly. This would likely be the Allegro. This would be a longer walk, but it would be a pretty walk you could walk along the river the majority of the way there. Or it would be an easy cab ride. So, not the most optimal location but further savings over PRICELINE EXPRESS options. Hot.wire also has a 4* for $150 in the Mag Mile-RN area w/Fitness, Complimentary Breakfast, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly. This would likely be the Kinzie and with free breakast and not a bad walk to the Hyatt, I'd recommend this quite a bit. There's free breakfast on every floor each day. PRICELINE EXPRESS: 4* MP-Loop-GP $153-- These are common amenities and it may be something else, but the Hard Rock would be a guess in this case. 4.5* Mp-Loop-GP $179.-- These are common amenities and it may be something else, but the Monaco would be a guess in this case. You may see slightly different prices than noted above on Hot.wire. Personally, I think the potential Kinzie on Hot.wire is a good value for $150 w/free breakfast and evening reception. thereuare
... and if you haven't yet, pleas read your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) I'm assuming one of the above will work for your needs, but if not, you can also use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com... enter the address you need and search within a 1 mile radius; the interface and filtering ability will make it easy to see your options and how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating or to stay closer/further from your ideal location. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes.
