In the Hotwire hotel list, I don't see the area "West Loop - UIC - United Center." Am I missing it? I see "Chicago Loop - Theater District".

In the Priceline Express hotel list, I don't see the area "Magnificent Mile - River North."

This area was rezoned recently. It's also really not an area I'd recommend at all from a tourist perspective. On Price.line, the "River North-North Michigan Ave" area has simply been renamed.

Thanks. I am trying to combine my stay with my IHG free night award which includes the InterContinental, Holiday Inn (Magnificent Mile, Mart Plaza, and Downtown), Hotel Indigo, and Crown Plaza. Dates are 9/24 - 9/28. I was planning on using the free night either 9/24 or 9/27 and book Priceline or Hotwire the other 3 nights. IHG limits when you can use the award and after searching, it seems the only feasible combination is Holiday Inn Mart Plaza free night 9/24 and Hotwire/Priceline 9/25-9/28.

 

I believe I have found it for Hotwire Magnificent Mile Area - River North area for $204/nt:

Amenities: Business center, Fitness center, Indoor pool(s), Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry

Also, I saw someone mention a 7% coupon for Priceline Express. Is this still available?

The issue with PRICELINE EXPRESS and HOTWIRE is that there are no guarantees. We can base a guess upon how a hotel has been previously reported to the board, but ultimately if you're looking for a particular hotel or or hotels there is always the possibility that something else previously unreported may appear with the same amenities as something else we've previously seen so there is always the risk you may get something unexpected.

 

If you click on the HOTWIRE listing, then click "book now", then "see all amenities", do you see:

 

Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower

 

If so, I'd guess the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza.

 

That said, if you're going to be paying for 9/25-28 and don't mind moving hotels, I think you could get a nicer hotel for less on HOTWIRE

 

The PRICELINE EXPRESS would be a possible match for the Holiday Inn.

Sorry to hear that the result was unexpected. This property was recently considerably renovated and couldn't be in a better location - Michigan Ave is a block away and the restaurants and nightlife of River North are a short walk to the West - so hopefully it will still work out well for your travel plans.
