Hello, I'd like to try and identy this Hotwire property because we are travelling on a "once in a lifetime" trip from Australia with our three kids under 5...crazy I know! Anyway, the Hotire description is free parking, suite, pool(s), business centre, Internet access, tennis nearby, accessibility for visually impaired, accessible path of travel, accessible bathroom, roll in shower, resort, fitness centre, restaurant(s), self service laundry, gold nearby, spa services, accessible for hearing impaired, in room accessibility, accessible parking. 90% recommend this resort and it is listed as $73 a night which is said to be 40% off.

I thought it was the Caribe Royale but they actually have tennis (it's not nearby). Any assistance or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

It's the same thing in HOTWIRE terms ;)

Best guess would be Caribe Royale Resorts Suites and Villas.

I would like to add that this is a good price for this great property. You kids will love the pool area. And it's just across the street from a big supermarket (Publix) to get snacks etc.

Thanks so much! I'm really appreciative of the advice as I've been trying to pick somewhere nice but also avoid all of the resort fees, parking fees etc. This resort doesn't include breakfast but it helps to know there is a supermarket across the road. I'll let you know how I go.

I'm just checking about resort fees. In the "know before you go" section for this booking there is no reference to a resort fee but as I understand it the Caribe Royale is now charging a fee from 1 September. Does the fact the fee is not disclosed mean I might not be charged if I book before 1 September or is it simply an explanation for the cheap rate and it's covered by the General Hotwire disclaimer that the resort could essentially charge me whatever they want in addition to the rate I've already agreed?

Not sure in this unique case, but I'd say there is the possibility that there is no resort fee showing for this property yet because it won't start for another few days.

Congrats on your success. :)

Very nice deal for this property and glad you are pleased with the result. Given that you booked before the resort fee was started, I'd be curious if it still applies (You'd have to call and talk to the hotel, but worth a try - it definitely still might, but you never know.)

Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.

Enjoy your stay.
