aperry
Hi! I'm going on a trip with 3 other women and we all want our own beds so I'm trying to find two rooms with two double beds in them for September 23-27th. I want it to be at least a 3* hotel in a central location, but other then that I'm not very picky. So far the best deal I've been able to find on Price.line in the Madison Square Garden area for a 3* hotel with two double beds and a city view for $289/night. The amenities include a business center, restaurant, free internetm free breakfastm and a fitness center. I looked at your priceline list and it seems to match up with the Wingate by Wyndham Manhattan Midtown. Does that sound right? I also found a deal on Hot.wire for a 4* hotel in the East Village for $266/night per room (I put in 7 people for the 2 rooms to make sure I was getting two beds in each). The amenities are free internet, fitness center, and business center. Do you know which hotel this might be? Also do you have any other recomendations? Thank you! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)What would be your desired max budget per night for this stay and which zones would be acceptable? On Hot.wire, if you are indicating more than 2 people per room to try and get bedding for the party, rather than indicating more than 2 adults, I'd indicate extras as children even if there isnt children in the party. If you do this, are the options the same? Also, if you search for more than 2 on Hot.wire, you should get some sort of bedding for the entire party. That may be 1 + rollaway, 1 + sofabed or 2 beds and there is not a guarantee of two beds, especially in NYC with rooms that are small. If you want two beds, I'd rather suggest going for a PRICELINE EXPRESS listing with a defined bed choice. aperry
My prices actually went up when I changed it to 4 adults and two children, and they stayed the same for 2 adults and 4 children. We are ok with a pull out sofa or rollaway bed; I just don't want us to have to share a bed. I'd like to keep my budget below $300/night, but I am a little flexible. I've been looking at hotels in MSG, TS, ESB, Chelsea, MTW, MTE, MTC, SoHo-Tribeca, East Village, and the Financial district. Link to comment

aperry
Fairfield Inn and Suites New York Midtown Manhattan/Penn Station 335 W. 33rd ST. The amenities listed were business center, restaurant, free internet, free breakfast, and fitness center and I booked through PL express deals. I'm very pleased with the location and while I would have liked a cheaper price I still think I got a very good deal for two rooms with two double beds a piece and city views during a peak season. Your website and links were a huge help! Thank you! Link to comment
AaronJB
Thank you for confirming location and glad you are pleased with the win. A benefit of PRICELINE EXPRESS is definitely the occasional option of things like upgrades. Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
