carcassone
Have been bidding on PL up to $162 without success last couple days.Check-in Sat 8/29 for 1 night, BH and West Hollywood. SM is ok but that's probably even more expensive.Max $160 (before taxes and fees, ie, < $200) PRICELINE EXPRESS has 4* BH for $190 (Guest Rating: 8+, pets allowed, business, wifi, pool, fitness) Hotwire has 4*$160/per nightWest Beverly Hills - Century City area hotel1.2 - 4.0 mi |70% recommended Free parking, Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center Is this Hotel Angeleno? Free parking sounds great but I fear it's more toward the north end. I'd like to stay around the BH area. Thanks in advance for your help. Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. If you click on the listing, then click "book now", then "see all amenities", do you see: Boutique, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Free Parking, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower If so, I'd guess the Angeleno. carcassone
This is the FULL AMENITIES for Hotwire, 4*, $160/per night, West Beverly Hills - Century City area hotel FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Not exactly the same order of wordings but the "Free parking" probably points to Hotel Angeleno as that's a rare amentity. Just tried PL again today up to $162 without success (4* BH, WH, SM; 8/29). From the Rate Drop screen, I see the following offerings. Any guesses on which hotels are these?HOTWIRE 4* $180 Sunset Blvd - West Hollywood: FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Kitchenette, Spa servicesPRICELINE EXPRESS 4* BH $190 (Guest Rating: 8+, pets allowed, business, wifi, pool, fitness) Link to comment
AaronJB
My thoughts... 4* PRICELINE EXPRESS BH -- Likely Hyatt Century 4* HOTWIRE Not yet ID'd/reported. Please let us know what you decide. carcassone
Hmm ... just saw this on Hotwire: 4.5* Beverly Hills area boutique hotel $240 $175FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Restaurant(s), Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby Hotwire hotel list only has one 4.5* L'Ermitage. Original price of $240 seems especially low for L'Ermitage or any 4.5* in BH. Any guess which hotel this is? Link to comment
yellowdog
Original price of $240 seems especially low for L'ErmitageNote that the crossed out rate is an average price of hotels of this star rating in the zone for your dates, NOT necessarily the rate of the hotel currently being offered. Best guess would be Sirtaj Hotel Beverly Hills Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. carcassone
The amenities do match Sirtaj Hotel Beverly Hills, even though it's listed in the 4*, not 4.5*, category in this site's Hotwire hotel list. Tried Price.Line this morning again up to $167 without success. Am I still too early for a Sat check-in? Link to comment
AaronJB
The board hotel lists provides what has been confirmed to the board. A guess would be that the Sirtaj has been upgraded to 4.5* since it was last reported to the board. At about four days out, this is definitely not too early and is much more "last minute" - hotels likely have a very good idea of demand/occupancy for Saturday at this point. Hotwire 5* Beverly Hills $180FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Link to comment
AaronJB
My guess is that this may be the Intercontinental, upgraded to 5* since it was last reported. carcassone
It was indeed the InterContinental. Saw the $180 Hotwire deal this morning but didn't book it right away. Then when I checked after work, it had gone up to $207 and then to $251 later in the evening. Kicked myself for not booking when I should have, tried priceline up to $172 for 4* in BH and failed. Then checked again at 10p and it went back down to $183!! Hooray! Thanks for all the intellegent guesses. Link to comment
