Hotwire Hotel: Help ID 3* North Myrtle Beach and Little River 8/30-31

Looking at a $64, 3* hotel in North Myrtle Beach and Little River zone. 85% recommended, and it says the last person got the Ocean Creek resort.

Note that the "Last person got ___" information is in relation to the last person who bought a hotel of this star rating in the zone, not necessarily the underlying hotel currently being offered.

With the above noted, the Ocean Creek Resort would be my best guess for this one (with a secondary/less likely guess of the Beach Cove Resort)

However, if you are interested in this property at $64/nite it can be booked for a few dollars less 'all-in' HERE (confirm your dates on the landing page) with no guessing as to the hotel you will get. ;)

What are the chances of booking a Hot.wire Hot Rate hotel, and being able to add an extra night?

 

Staying at the beach Sat and Sun nights, and Saturday is far more expensive.

If there is a big rate difference between the two nites then i would think that your odds of being able to extend your stay at the same rate would be fairly low... especially in an area like this where weekend nites are much busier then mid-week dates.

When there is a rate change for a mulit-nite stay, both HOTWIRE and PRICELINE EXPRESS usually do a decent job at averaging the rates... is the hotel you want not offered when searching for both nites OR were you just thinking that you would be able to get the more expensive Saturday nite at the lower Sunday nite rate?

Are you looking two stay both nites OR only looking at the Saturday nite if you're able to get the lower rate? What is your planned budget for this trip? (per nite)

I was mostly wondering if I could work the system and get both nights at the lower Sunday rate. We are definitely staying both nights, just need to find a deal. Budget is roughly 150-200 all in for both nights (inc. tax/fees).

 

We have family staying at the Castaway Beach Inn (North Myrtle) but, being the Priceline/Hotwire hotel snobs we are :) we don't want to pay $175 for 2 nights at a 1* motel. All that to say...part of my strategy is to get something closeby to them. Better deals in South MB, but we don't want to have a 30 minute drive between us.

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.
