Hotwire Hotel: Santa Barbara Area Hotel Sept 4-7

 I am looking at the better bidding tool  Hotwire for Santa Barbara for a 4 star hotel for 2 people September 4-7. The rate is $492 and I have no idea what it can be. Its not the Harbor View and seems high for the Montecito Inn, although the description is close. Is this a new hotel?

This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. The Canary would be a guess, but I'm definitely not certain and it very well may be something else not yet reported.

 

That said, did you really want to spend nearly $500 when there's a 4* in the same zone for $250 (you may see a slightly different price) w/Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa?

 

This would be a likely match for the Montecito Inn.

Thank you for the reply. The $255 hotel in the same area says (on the Hotwire Tab) recent bookings are of the Harbor View Inn. I don't see any others and am assuming that The Montecito Inn may not be offered for that weekend.  I may just have to come back on a less busy weekend. :-)

The "last person got...." listing is not Hot.wire showing the name of the underlying hotel, it is the last hotel someone won at that star rating in that zone, which may or may not be the hotel mentioned.
