Aliceeee
I am planning to stay in a 4* hotel at Financial District in San Frrancisco Aug 27-Aug 30th.I have checked the express deal, the price is arouund $250. I have 10% coupon for express deal, so after coupon it will be around $225. However my budget is around $180. Do you think is it too low to bid for the area ? I do see some post got last min deal from 140-180 in the past on weekends dates as well. Could you kindly provid some recommendation for the bidding strategy ? Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Is the Financial District zone the only one that you're willing to accept... or are other nearby zones (such as USE and/or USW) also acceptable? (or are you not looking at these because you think they will be over your budget?) Aliceeee
I have never been to San Fran so I m actually not sure which area is good for stay.I would a like a place that is more convenient to go around the City and safe. Would you recommend USE and USW area as well? Link to comment
thereuare
USE and USW are generally considered to be the core 'Downtown' areas. The Financial District is just outside of USE and USW and when less expensive can provide a more budget friendly option. The Fisherman's Wharf zone is also popular but also very touristy (which depending upon your needs can be a positive or a negative) You should include all zones that you think are acceptable, even if you think they will be over your budget, as including more zones gives you more bidding opportunities (and the ability to bid in smaller increments) which helps you get the best price possible. Let us know your thoughts as to which zone(s) you'd like to include in your bidding and we'll advise accordingly.
