Hotwire Hotel: Los Angeles Trip from 08/08-08/10

Hi all! 

 

New to HOTWIRE and PRICELINE, but was looking for a hotel in LA area from 08/08 to 08/10. We have a dog, two adults and one child. Found the following 4* near LA Intl Airport LAX area hotel $143/night with the following ammenities:

 

Airport shuttle   Business center   Fitness center   Internet access   Pool(s)   Restaurant(s)

 

Wanted to see if it could be ID'd. Also have government discount if that is applicable. Will be driving so hotel does not have to be incredibly close to DT LA. Thanks in advance!

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? ... if this is what you're seeing, the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel would be my best guess for this one.

HOWEVER, this hotel does not show a 'Pet Friendly' amenity... if you choose a hotel that does not show this amenity, what will you do if the hotel received does not allow pets?

Thanks for the reply, we are going to leave our dog at a sitter since it looks like even pet friendly hotels do not allow you to keep pets when no one is present in the room. Also you were on the dot with the amenities, but I'm trying to see if there is somewhere closer to downtown LA. Found this one for $113 at hollywood:

Are you sure the zone of this one is not NORTH Hollywood? If it is, then my guess for this one would be the Best Western Burbank Airport Inn.

You can also use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com which will show you hotels near almost any address in the world and makes it easy to see how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating (the Hotels.com tab there will allow you to search for 2adults/1child)

Do you have plans in the area that have you in the Downtown area, as i was in this area recently and found my of my time as a tourist was spent exploring Universal, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills... whereas most of 'Downtown' was more business oriented.

I think you are right, there isn't a need to be exactly at downtown, found this one as well it would be great if you could help give a guess to what it is:

 

Mid-Wilshire - USC

 

4* - $119
