sabucher
Hi and thanks for any assistance! I need 2 rooms in Times Square Area would like to know a reasonable bid for a 4.5 star for the nights of 7/18-19. Only considering Times Square do to the couple we are traveling with - would also consider 4 star but am afraid we might end up with the Row Hotel. Any advice appreciated! Link to comment

sabucher
$500 including tax/fees for both rooms. It would be wonderful to be more in the $400 range but perhaps unrealistic? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! At current rates i don't think your budget is realistic for a 4* hotel in Times Square... at the moment i think you're looking at at the $250-$275 room rate (before taxes/fees) for a 4.5* property. I am seeing what looks like The Jewel hotel on PRICELINE EXPRESS for $222/nite (Restaurant, Business Center, Fitness Center). This property is in PRICELINE's MTW zone but is only about a half a block from the Times Square boundary... would this work for your needs? sabucher
July 18-20, Priceline is offering a 4* (7+) Times Square-Theater District room with Wifi, Restaurant, Fitness, Business and choice of bed (only queen available) for $189 a night. It says it is 24% or more off. What would be your guess on the hotel brand? Also they are offering a 4* (8+) Midtown West with Pets and Restaurant for $169 a night. 20% off lowest published rates. Any guesses? Thank you in advanced! Link to comment
sabucher
Hi! Still hanging in there and have been tempted to use the a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal. I posted a new topic since I am changing from bidding to Express. I hope this is correct. Link to comment
thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the lower right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. I don't have a guess for the Times Square property... my guess for the MTW property would be the Warwick. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Good luck!
