Looking to stay in Times Square Area, would do a PRICELINE EXPRESS if there was something worthwhile... I would be looking to bid $150-200 per day would be my range. I don't neccesarily have to be in TS but am going to the Jets game that weekend in NJ and need to be near a train or the Lincoln Tunnel.. So what would be your suggestion to bid or wait on a PRICELINE EXPRESS? If express do you have any idea what they currently are? Thanks.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate)

Do you intend to drive to the game OR take mass transit? If taking train/bus, i don't see any reason to limit yourself to the Times Square area as it will be easy enough to get to a location (at worst a $10 taxi ride away) that will take you to the game. As well, better to focus your location on things that you plan on doing while in the city then for your one trip outside of the city.

As far as PRICELINE EXPRESS, currently there are no 4* hotels in Times Square that are within your budget, although i cam seeing what appears to be the W New York Hotel for $183/nite, The Marcel At Gramercy Park for $195/nite, or the City Club Hotel for $203/nite.

Are any of the above of interest OR do you want to try bidding on PRICELINE (and if bidding, are you willing to accept other zones than Times Square)?

At this point I am not sure if we will take a car/taxi/uber to the game in NJ, which is why I want to have the options of both and I figure TS area is perfect for what we want to do on the other days as well. I am open to moving a little... I would be ok with the W if it is the one in Hell's Kitchen (do you know which W it is?) or the City Club Hotel (never heard of this place - Do you recommend?)... I would select either if I can be assured of a King Sized bed room. Would I be able to pick the bed size? What are your thoughts on the Royalton? Thanks.

The only way that you can select bed type is if you go on the PRICELINE EXPRESS side of Price.line and see a listing with bed choice as an option. Otherwise, with Price.line and Hot.wire in NYC (where rooms are often tiny and it's not unusual for a King bed to be a paid upgrade) you definitely risk not getting a room with a king bed. The W New York is in MTE.
