berfloodz
Hi, It seems to be difficult to get reasonable accommodation in the Belmont area. Basic motels/hotels seem over priced.Does anyone have any suggestions? I think San Mateo, Redwood City or San Fran Airport would do as well as they are close. I see a 4* in S. SFO Intl Airport - Burlingame for $137 on Hotwire Easy ViewFULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, In-room accessibility Any idea what this hotel is? Thanks Link to comment
AaronJB
When I"m searching for 7/15-17, the cheapest 4* I'm seeing in this zone is $316. Are you still seeing a 4* for $137? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Link to comment

yellowdog
Sorry - thinking of dates changing againAre your dates firm for July 10th - 12th? In Priceline hotel list some of the hotels have Bed Choice. Does this mean I will get to choose my room type? Or could I get stuck with a twin room? It's different from hotel to hotel. Sometimes can you choose rooms and other times can you only choose one or two beds. thereuare
In Priceline hotel list some of the hotels have Bed Choice. Does this mean I will get to choose my room type?On the PRICELINE EXPRESS list of offers (from PRICELINE) some hotels will list a 'Bed Choice'... for these properties you can click the hotel offer and see what choices you have. Sometimes the choice is very specific (ie- 2 Queen Beds with a pullout sofabed)... other times it may simply state 'accommodates 2 people') Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. berfloodz
Hi yes dates are confirmed Regarding the room - if it says "accommodates 2 people" does this mean it could end out being a twin room? Link to comment
thereuare
accommodates 2 peopleIt can be any type of room configuration where the bedding can accommodation two people. You need two beds in the room, correct? If so, the above would not suit your needs. As per my comments above, you want a PRICELINE EXPRESS hotel that specifically lists two beds in the room. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. berfloodz
Two queens for a King would be find. What I want to avoid getting 2 single beds. Link to comment
thereuare
Two queens for a King would be find. Again, you would therefore need to find a hotel where the Bed Choice option specifically stated '1 King Bed' or '2 Queen Beds'. berfloodz
Ok so for the 10th and 11th this is what I have got in the BiddingHelper.com, could I get some help identifying the hotels? PRICELINE EXPRESS USW $168 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant (maybe Monaco or The Prescott?) UQE $190 Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center (Not sure) Both say "All rooms will accommodate up to 2 adults" so I guess that rules them out as I risk getting two single beds. HOTWIRE USW $174 FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, In-room accessibility USE $189 FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom USE $201 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower USW $207 FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower I am finding it difficult to figure out the hotels due to the amount of amenities. Is there any guidelines on how to rule out certain hotels eventhough they might have most of the amenities listed? thanks Link to comment
AaronJB
What are the star ratings for the Hot.wire listings? To try and focus the search are you looking for something in particular? Getting two single beds is unlikely, but there is no way to guarantee bed type unless the listing specifies bed choice and gives you various options. You are looking for two queens or one king. What if you got one queen? Are you searching for 2 adults on HOTWIRE? berfloodz
1 queen would be fine as well. Basically want to avoid 2 singles. I am using the BiddingHelper.com tool and all hotels I quoted are 4*. I am using 1 room, 2 adults. I am looking for 4* in USE or USW for $170 - $200 Link to comment
