gmalabad
Hello. I would like to bid on a room in SFO, Union Square area. I'm open to the Financial District or the Wharf as well. I've noticed in both hotwire and priceline the average for the hotels are approximately $300 CAD. What are the chances of me potentially getting a room at a max rate of $200 CAD (appx $160 USD). thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! PRICELINE EXPRESS has this 4 star USW property for $168/nite... can we raise your maximum bid to $165/nite (and then if rejected you can take this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer?) If the plan above makes sense, to avoid any confusion, please list the zones that you're willing to accept (by PRICELINE name) and we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. thereuare
There are current no 4* hotels offered in the Japantown zone so we will not include that in your bidding. When bidding 4* in San Francisco you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 4* USW, USE, Financial... Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone... gmalabad
Total Newbie! Forgot to post the dates I was looking: July 10th to the 12th. Will that affect the hotel you had listed for the $168USD? Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
You had your dates in the topic description so i saw them there. The bidding above would have no effect on the current PRICELINE EXPRESS offer at $168, but that offer could disappear at any time (irrespective of your PRICELINE bidding) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes or if you have any additional questions.
