brunnerlauren
I'd like to bid on airfare on Priceline's Name Your Price. How do I know what price to bid? I've searched the typical websites, like Expedia, Kayak, etc., to see the typical fareswhich are around $1,500 for the dates I need to fly. However, I've found on Skyskanner airfare for the exact dates and airport locations for $1,300. So how do I determine from this information what to bid on Priceline? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) Where is it that you're traveling from/to and what are the dates? Based upon the prices you can purchase a ticket above, how much of a discount would you need to make an 'opaque' purchase worthwhile (where you can't choose the flight times, length of layover, layover city, etc)? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
