tommorrissey23
I can't seem to win a reasonable bid for LAX July 14th (one night stay). I have bid on 3* hotels from $95 all the way through $125 which puts me at $150 after tax. Curious if I am doing something wrong. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! I assume you are bidding the Airport zone? If you use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com and search '3 miles from Los Angeles Airport' (and then use the checkboxes on the left side of the page to only show 3* and higher rated hotels) you will see that rates for these dates are high and the least expensive hotel in this zone starts at $155 with the majority well over $200+. HOTWIRE has a 3* hotel in the LAX zone for $125/nite with: Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Boutique Shuttle Smoke Free Fitness Business Hi-Speed Internet Wheelchair Accessible ... my guess for this property would be the Wingate By Wyndham Los Angeles Airport LAX (which is 2.5* rated by PRICELINE) Would this work for your needs? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
