thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! When bidding on PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you choose. There is no way to target, or avoid, a specific property. Is the Best Value Inn the only hotel you're willing to accept for this stay? As well, there is no way to know if prices will come down, or move higher, between now and your trip. If hotels get more new reservations/fewer cancellations then expected then rates may rise from here... if there are fewer new reservations/more cancellation then expected then rates could drop. You can use our RateDrop service to keep track of rates for these dates and get an alert any time that prices come down for the star rating and zones that you're considering. With the above noted, i do think that $120 will be enough for these dates. If you're willing to accept any 2* hotel in the zone(s) that you select and are ready to bid now, we can suggest a bidding strategy for you to follow. Also, are any other zones acceptable (even if you feel they are beyond your budget) or is this the only zone you're willing to accept for this trip? Overboardkiller
wow thanks for the quick reply. i want to keep under the 120 price which would include parking and wifi. We will have a car as we are driving from West to East for 8 weeks. i only picked Lombard as it is very central. What other areas should i try? Link to comment
thereuare
i want to keep under the 120 price which would include parking and wifi. There is no way to know if the hotel you win will offer free parking and/or free wifi. If these are your stipulations then i would consider this 2 star Marina-Lombard property from PRICELINE EXPRESS for $121/nite which shows: Pets Allowed Free Parking Free Internet Free Breakfast ... my guess for this one would be Americas Best Value Inn Golden Gate, and even if it proves to be some other property, you're assured of free wifi and free parking. i only picked Lombard as it is very central. What other areas should i try?Union Square East, Union Square West, SOMA, Financial District are all popular zones, however, they will all most likely be outside of your budget, especially when trying to include parking in the price.
