thereuare
I'm quite familiar with NYC, if you let us know your maximum budget (per nite before taxes/fees), some things you plan on doing while in NYC, and the age of your children (as suggestions could differ if they are 2-4 years old, 10-12 years old, or 16-17 years old) we will suggest some of the best options for you for this trip. maria beatriz
My maximum budget is US$ 200,00, but it depends on the rating of the hotel. I'm looking for the cheaper one, but I prefer paying around Us$ 200 in a 5 star hotel, than 180 in a 3,5/4 *. Age of the children: 9 (girl) and 12 (boy). I'll still plan the whole trip, but I intend to go to: - Museums: American Museum of Natural History, Hayden Planetarium, MOMA, The Children Museum of Manhattan, MET - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - Central Park (maybe 2 days; one to a bike ride), Madison Square Park - Grand Central Terminal - Bronx Zoo - Statue of Liberty - Boats: Harbor Lights Cruise or Statue Cruises - a show in Broadway (maybe The Lion King) - Coney Island - Stores: American Girl, FAO Scwhartz, Toys R US - Six Flags Adventure Park – My son loves roller coaster. So maybe we will go to Jackson (after knowing Wasghington and Philadelphia and before NYC, by car). But I didn't found many reviews about The Six Flags Park. Is it good? Thankyou very much! thereuare
Best deal for your dates would be what appears to be the Affinia Manhattan for $160/nite... a good deal for quad occupancy and a great location right in front of Penn Station (and other subway access one block west on Sixth Ave) I'm also seeing what i think is the Wyndham Garden Chinatown for $185/nite which gets very good reviews, but not as convenient of a location. Six Flags Great Adventure has been around forever and is considered to be the best theme park in the area (my kids like it). Thoughts on the property(s) above? How can I find the Affinia Manhattan in Hotwire? Which zone? I thought it was at Garment District, but I haven´t found this option Link to comment
AaronJB
When searching for these dates 2a/2c, I'm seeing a 4* in the MSG-Hell's Kitchen area w/Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly.-- This would be a possible match for the Affinia Manhattan. maria beatriz
I found this one: 4* Madison Square Garden - Hell's Kitchen Amenities Include: Internet access, Pet friendly, Fitness center, Business center and more... FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower A little different than your description... But the only four stars at Madidon Square now, using Bidding.helper. US $ 178 per night Best regards Link to comment
AaronJB
Those are the same descriptions in a different order, so my guess would remain the Affinia.
