jimmcc01
So going back and forth on trying to bid on airfare travel from SEA to LAS on Priceline. I've tried to read what I can on the little amount (comparatively to hotel bidding) that people have used on Priceline, and most of it doesn't seem to be very good. But many of the negative posts (not just here) tend to be extended layovers on international flights. So my first inquiry, anyone have any experience on bidding on priceline from SEA to LAS? Current fares are in the $300 range per person round trip, if bidding, what level of discount should I be bidding on? Per Priceline: "Flight Times:The airlines will choose your flight times. Your trip will start between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. and you will arrive no later than 12:30 a.m. the next day.""Connections:Maximum of 1 connection each way. (layovers will be no longer than 3 hours)" with these rules, what's the worst case scenario? thanks for all the info on these forums. plan to make a bid on a hotel later. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) with these rules, what's the worst case scenario? What is the worst case scenario depends upon your needs for this trip, if you're looking to spend as much time in Las Vegas as possible the worst case scenario would be a very large departure on 6/27 and then a very early return on 7/1, with a 3 hour layover on each leg. If you're looking for comfort, then i suppose the worst case scenario would be 6am departures for each leg (again, with 3 hours layovers) With the above risks, how much of a discount would you need to make a 'bad' routing worthwhile?
