Hotwire Hotel: 3* Memphis (East) Four Points by Sheraton Memphis East

I'm going to meet my girlfriend in Memphis for a weekend, and am trying to find something reasonably priced. I know doing that over Memorial Day weekend is tough, but I found an east Memphis hotel that seems to fit the bill. However, I'd like a bit of help identifying it before booking.

 

I started (as I always do), but searching from the Bidding.Helper and found this:

 

3-star, $102 per night

95% recommended by Hotwire customers; 4.0/5.0 rating from TripAdvisor

Complimentary: Free parking, Free Internet.

Amenities: Airport shuttle, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Self-service laundry.

Are you searching for more than 2 adults? I'm not seeing this listing when searching for 2a for 5/22-25. 

 

I do see a 3.5* for $107 (you may see a slightly different price) w/Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Indoor Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Free Parking. 

 

This would be a possible match for the Crowne Plaza Memphis East.

 

THAT SAID:

 

The Germantown area is not far and I'm seeing a 3.5* in that zone w/Pool, Fitness, Complimentary Breakfast, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Free Parking, Pet Friendly for $94.

 

This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but a guess would be that the Hyatt Place Germantown has been upgraded to 3.5* and is showing with a slightly different amenity set. In any case, if you click on the listing then scroll down, there is a 4.5/5 tripadvisor rating showing (tripadvisor logo w/4.5/5 circles shaded.) So, for around $10 less, slightly different area, but cheaper, better reviewed and free breakfast.

 

Let us know your thoughts, as well as if you're seeing the original 3* still.

3* in East Memphis for $97 with Free Parking, Free Internet, Airport Shuttle, Smoke-free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, and Self-service Laundry.  It has 95% recommendation rate from Hotwire users and 4.0/5.0 on TripAdvisor.

 

3.5* in East Memphis for $105 with Free Parking, Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), and Business Center.  It has 75% recommendation rate from Hotwire users and 3.5/5.0 on TripAdvisor.

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to each of these listings (although i'm not currently seeing the Germantown offer), do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?

Following directions from thereuare, I did a search with the BiddingHelper.com and found the following with the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW.  Btw, I changed dates slightly.  Now dates are 5/22 to 5/26.

 

All choices are in East Memphis as I selected I wanted free parking.

 

3.5* for $105.  Amenities: Free parking, Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby.

 

4* for $119.  Amenities: Free parking, Free breakfast, Suite, Indoor pool(s), Airport shuttle, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Kitchenette, Accessible for visually impaired, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom.

 

3* for $97.  Amenities: Free parking, Free Internet, Airport shuttle, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby.

 

The amenities listed were from there green button that says "full amenities click here"
