Krusty
Does anyone have an opinion as to which zone on the Las Vegas strip (North/Center/South) is preferable for 4*/5* hotels. I've noticed the South Strip zone is quite close to the airport but perhaps this is irrelevant. We're a bit more sightseers than gamblers but are still looking for the Vegas "experience" (if it's possible without too much gambling ). Thanks. Link to comment

thereuare
Please only 'bump' your threads after 24 hours without a response... doing so earlier will usually only result in a further delay. Your previous Hotwire Bryce Canyon thread is just 10 days away, please post a follow-up there with your current thoughts/decision for that trip, then click each of these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links and reply here, we will have a look at and comment on your Las Vegas trip. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases and searches... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
Krusty
Hi, I don't think I bumped my threads. I originally posted two topics, one asking for a recommendation as to where to stay on the Las Vegas strip and the other asking for hotel identities. When I looked later that night the two threads had been combined as one. That was fine but they now seemed to be under Priceline rather than Hotwire so I reposted under Hotwire and now I see all three are combined... In regards to my previous Hotwire Bryce Canyon thread (just 10 days away, please post a follow-up there with your current thoughts/decision for that trip) I found the prices too expensive so ended up in some cabins in Tropic. Do you want me to post that in the Bryce Canyon thread? Thanks Link to comment

Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the lower right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. In regards to my previous Hotwire Bryce Canyon thread (just 10 days away, please post a follow-up there with your current thoughts/decision for that trip) I found the prices too expensive so ended up in some cabins in Tropic. Do you want me to post that in the Bryce Canyon thread?Yes, please. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. Best guess/comments for each North Strip $70 --> Treasure Island South Strip $62 --> Luxor Hotel and Casino Center Strip $75 --> Westin Casuarina Of these i would go with Treasure Island based upon location and 'vegas experience'.
