bluesz
tried to bid a 4-4.5 star hotel at Chicago ORD area (south and north ) yesterday, starting from 68, 75 and 82, but no luck. Then, think I would try the last one $90, thinking that downtown area must be very popular and could not get it at this price and choose it. However, I got the bid for Hyatt Regency hotel for $90, with tax included, the total is 111.29. Do not like downtown hotel cause the parking fee is $60--$70/day !!!! Link to comment

You can likely get parking substantially cheaper than what the hotels charge by parking at a garage/lot separate from your hotel. You can see some suggestions at the end of this Chicago Parking Tips post. Thank you for sharing your win with the board. AaronJB
This Hyatt is within easy walking distance of city garages (such as the Millennium Park lots), which are mentioned in the parking tips post linked above. Those lots are not cheap, but they are certainly way cheaper than hotel parking. I'm very familiar with the area - let me know if you have any city questions. Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
