ed011
Looking at booking a 4-star for 4 nights in San Francisco from June 2 - June 6 in either Fisherman's Wharf, Financial District, Union Square East, or SOMA area. I just want to confirm the re-bid zones to use so I don't end up in an area I don't want. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Yes, you have your re-bid zones correct, but always double check just before bidding to make sure that nothing has changed. My guess is that a 4* hotel in one of the zones above will likely be in the $150-$170 range, but we would of course suggest starting lower and working your way higher with the correct zone/re-bid zone combinations. If you let us know your maximum bid we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. ed011
I would say $160 is the top of my range. Link to comment

ed011
Sorry for no update yet, but I have yet to get a successful bid. Going to go hard for the next week to try. I have been bidding in Canadian dollars. Do you think I'd have more success using USD? Or does it not have any bearing? (As long as I take the exchange rate into account obviously) Link to comment
AaronJB
Bidding in USD vs CAD is not going to make any difference in terms of potential success. Good luck and thank you for keeping us updated.
