Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Colorado Springs (South) Antlers Hilton Colorado Springs

Winning bid was $55/night plus taxes and fees, two nights, for a grand total of $129.38.

I re-bid at the 3.5* level starting at $35, going up in $5 increments, and got it on my final bid of $55. I started at 3.5, because I didn't want to accidentally get the 4* Cheyenne Mountain Resort (which is a nice hotel, and I've enjoyed staying there, but I really want to be easy walking distance of downtown Colorado Springs.)

I'm extremely happy with this win: I've stayed here before, and it's quite nice, and an ideal downtown Colorado Springs location. The cheapest rate available directly through the hotel's website is advance purchase at $119/night plus taxes, so this is about half off.

Note that while Priceline calls this the "South" zone of Colorado Springs, it's really the downtown and south area. Their "Central" zone is deceptively north of the city center.

As always, I used the Betterbidding Priceline link. Thanks!
