Don't know if it's worth to pay about 100 bucks more for this 5*.

Once went to Sofitel in Chicago and loved it. DK if there's any chance to get it again thru some deals. Have a reservation for 302/nite.

--> i'm assuming this property is 4.5* rated? If so, the Intercontinental Chicago would be my best guess here

--> a new amenity set for The Peninsula Chicago would be my best guess for this one

If the 5* is within your desired budget and you were able to get the Peninsula, that would be a pretty phenomenal result.

 

Of the 4.5*'s you mention, I'd go with the James for a few bucks less than the other two.

 

I'll also throw in a 4* in the Loop area for $136 (you may see a slightly different price) w/Restaurant, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Spa. This would be a possible match for the Virgin Hotel, which just opened recently.

I search for 3 adults in the Loop 4* and only this one shows:

Will this one be Virgin Hotel? I think it's a pretty decent place...

The Virgin just opened a short while back and is in a great location a couple of blocks from the Michigan Ave. bridge, so great/central location plus new/fresh hotel.

Forgot to hit purchase yesterday and now it has increased to $166/nite.

Prices can change all the time. There is no way to know if the rate will come back. Waiting for it to go down a little back to what it was does also risk it going even higher in the meantime.

Not satisfied with all deals on Hot.wire and Price.line.

 

Love Sofitel very much and found something on Travel.ocity.

 

Ended up with a secret rate on Travelocity and got Sofitel.

 

Total with tax is $437.97.

 

Cancelled my previous Sofitel reservation.

Previously I thought it was powered by Hotwire. However, I cannot find the same deal on Hot.wire for this particular purchase.

 

Now the deal seems to be changed.

A similar one with the following amenities has about 30 bucks/nite higher prices.
