kdgillan
Which hotel is listed as a boutique hotel on the river walk? Free internet, pet friendly, pool, restaurant, business center, smoke free, 4.5 star Link to comment
yellowdog
I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process. Please run a new search using our BiddingHelper.com tool at the top of this page. Once the search is completed, use the EASY VIEW TAB and click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing to view the complete set of amenities. This is what I see when replicating your search: Boutique, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly If this is what you see my best guess would be Hotel Contessa. Keep us updated on your progress and let us know what you ultimately decide or if we can be of further help. kdgillan
It was the Hotel Contessa for $284 a night on 3/28. I personally don’t think this hotel should be rated a 4.5 star, but a 4 star. It is nice that every room is a suite. But it is not more elegant than the Westin, in my opinion. Also, during Spring Break, it is like watching a clown car episode, since guests tend to pack as many people in a room as possible. Although when it is not spring break, it is nice and quiet since it is located near the end of the river walk. The location allows for a short walk to the King William’s District and Gunther House restaurant. The cinnamon coffee is worth the wait in line on a weekend morning! And the home tours are worth every penny. Villa Finale is my favorite. Yet at the end of March, the Mountain Laurel trees will be in bloom at Steve’s Homestead. Link to comment
