Thinking about taking my GF back to Chicago this summer for vacation. The dates I have picked out are 6/2/15 - 6/7/15. I am looking at either a 3-4* range. Been a long time lurker, but first time posting a question. Would be extremely appreciative of any help / suggestions for the following hotels:

3.5*   Mag. Mile Area - River North - $156 / night- FULL AMENITIES (from Better Bidding's Hotwire Easy View)

  • fitness center
  • pool(s)
  • restaurant(s)
  • business center
  • internet access

OR

3.5* Chicago Loop - Theatre District - $157 / night - FULL AMENITIES: (from Better Bidding Hotwire Easy view)

  • free internet
  • indoor pool(s)
  • fitness center
  • pool(s)
  • restaurants(s)
  • business center
  • self service laundry
  • internet access
  • accessible for visually impaired
  • accessible for hearing impaired
  • accessible for travel
  • in room accessibility
  • accessible bathroom
  • accessible parking,
  • roll in shower

The other hotel I am looking at is a little more pricy, but it may be worth it to us if I can get a better idea of what it may be.

4.5* Mag Mile Area - River North - $199 / night - FULL AMENITIES: (from better bidding Hotwire Easy View)

  • pet friendly
  • indoor pool(s)
  • smoke-free rooms
  • fitness center
  • pool(s)
  • restaurants(s)
  • business cneter
  • internet access
  • accessible for visually impaired
  • accessible for hearing impaired
  • accessible path of travel
  • in room accessibility
  • accessible bathroom
  • accessible parking
  • roll in shower

Thank you!

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

The 3.5* Mag Mile RN is likely the Doubletree. 3.5* Loop is likely the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza. The 4.5* Mag Mile-RN is likely the Intercontinental.

Out of the two 3.5*'s the Doubletree is preferable from a location standpoint. The Intercontinental has a great location and a fascinating history, but is also something of a giant convention hotel.

I'll throw out one other suggestion:

4* Mag Mile N-WT $165 (you may see a slightly different price) Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Tennis, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly.

--- This would be a possible match for the Public. That's at the tip top of the zone, but it's in the very nice Gold Coast area, with a lot of restaurants and nightlife. Also, pretty reasonable walk from here to Lincoln Park/LP Zoo.
