When I bid in Priceline (Name Your Own Price), can I pay the reservation for another person, using my own credit card?

In Price.line web site its mentioned:

"Please enter the name of the person who will be checking into the hotel. They must present a valid photo ID and credit card."

Does this mean the credit card presented in the hotel during checkin must be the same used for payment in Priceline?

I want to make a reservation in the name of my brother, but I'm not sure if the hotel will complain about that.

Thanks.

Use your brothers name where it asks for the person checking-in to the room... use your name for the billing/credit card details.

Your brother will still need a credit card of his own to use as security deposit/incidentals.

Please use the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board for your bidding, searches, and purchases.
