thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! For the HOTWIRE offers, are you including 3 adults in your search? For the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer, does it offer a 'Bed Choice', and if so, does one of the choices offer an options show two beds in the room? If not, there is no way to ensure there will be sleeping accommodations for all three since PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy (and most higher rated hotels on the Strip in Vegas now charge more for rooms with two beds vs. rooms with only one bed)... is this an acceptable risk to take? Also, for the HOTWIRE offers I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using these methods: 1) use the EASY VIEW tab of our BiddingHelper.com and click the green 'See All Amenities' button OR 2) search HOTWIRE (or use the HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com) and...click the offeron the next page click the BOOK NOW linkin the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenities... do you see more amenities than what you have included above? If so, please re-post the amenity set along with the current prices (if you weren't previously searching for 3 adults) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. kimberlyk
thanks! And thanks for getting back fast. Well things are getting complicated lol. Still going to search for center strip or south strip hotel. Just had a few questions first. If i put down 4 people in one room will i get 2 beds? If it doesnt say or offer a choice. Also a couple are coming with us and wanted to get a room in the same hotel as us. Would we get the same hotel if we purchased seperately but same offer on hotwire? Or is it best to put down 6 people two rooms.we really need two queen beds in one room. The other one doesnt matter. Link to comment
thereuare
If i put down 4 people in one room will i get 2 beds?Price.line doesn't include occupancy in the search, all they guarantee is a room that will accommodate double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel and they may not be able, or willing, to honor your request for a room with two beds (or there may be an additional fee for such a change, which would almost be expected at the higher rated hotels in Las Vegas since many of these hotels charge more for rooms with two beds or with more than double occupancy). With HOTWIRE they guarantee the rooms will accommodate the number of people you include in your search. While this often means two beds in the room, the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, a rollaway brought into the room, etc. Also a couple are coming with us and wanted to get a room in the same hotel as us. Would we get the same hotel if we purchased seperately but same offer on hotwire? Or is it best to put down 6 people two rooms.we really need two queen beds in one room. It's safer to purchase the 2 rooms in one transaction since: 1) some hotels differ from another hotel by just one amenity... you don't want you or the other couple to make a mistake and purchase the 'different' one 2) if two people search the same itinerary at the same time but there is only one room available at that rate, both will be shown the same hotel, but if they both click 'BUY NOW' at the same time, the first one will go thru and complete the transaction while the second will get a message that the offer is no longer available. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Based upon the above answers to your question let us know how you'd like to proceed and we will advise accordingly.
