AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. There is no way to increase the odds or target a particular property when bidding, you have to be willing to accept ANY hotel at the desired star rating within the desired zone. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment

thereuare
Assuming you're OK with any[i/] 4* hotel in this zone i would try as follows... When bidding 4* in Toronot you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 4* Downtown Toronto Southwest - Entertainment & Financial Districts... Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $63, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $68, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $73, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $78, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $83, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $85 Any questions feel free to ask (espcially confirming your re-bid zones with the board if you're new to the subject) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. bestdealz
Hi there! Thanks for the advice. However, I am only looking to stay in that one area (Downtown Southwest) - does anyone having any knowledge of someone getting the Fairmont Royal York? Link to comment
AaronJB
The Fairmont has been reported to the board previously. You can see all of the hotels reported to the board here: .Priceline Hotel List Canada. That said, I would not bid with the hopes of getting that particular property as you can potentially win any of the hotels in that zone at that star rating and there are several. In terms of using different areas ('re-bid" zones) in order to have more chances to bid, please read Priceline Re-bidding Explained and let us know if you have any questions before bidding, as the strategy above (using proper re-bid zones) would only result in a successful bid in the Downtown Southwest zone. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches... or if you're only willing stay at The Fairmont Royal York please use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com. Let us know whatever you decide for this stay or how we can be of further help. Link to comment
bestdealz
Hi, does anyone know which hotel this is: Hotwire - Toronto - Area Downtown West - Check in March 18 Check out March 19 - 4.5 star for $97. Link to comment
AaronJB
Please keep all discussion for this stay within this thread - thanks. Did you try bidding as described above? If you would like us to try to ID the Hot.wire listing mentioned, please provide the full list of amenities and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the above listing. bestdealz
Thank you for your reply. This is for HOTWIRE. Toronto Downtown West 4.5* for $97. March 18. Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Spa services Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: Pet Friendly Indoor Pool Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... if this is what you're seeing, an upgrade of the InterContinental Toronto Centre with a slightly new amenity set would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
