so I see on Hotwire express deals a 4.5 star in Chelsea $192. it says reviews still pending. the amenities are free internet, pet friendly, boutique hotel, non smoking rooms, fitness center, restaurant, business center, self service laundry.

do you think this is the Eventi?

any idea what this is EMP area, 4 star, $189 a night, boutique hotel, smoke free rooms, fitness center, restaurant, business center, internet access?

I am pretty open to location as long as it is central. I see a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for a 4 star in MTE for $139 but I think that is the UN hotel and I don't want to be on York, and one for $169, which I am pretty sure is the W, which my understanding has tiny rooms.

do you think it is worth it to grab one of these? or should I try and priceline bid it (staying away from MTE).

Thanks

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

To ensure you're seeing the complete list:

1) use the EASY VIEW tab of our BiddingHelper.com and click the green 'See All Amenities' button

OR

2) search HOTWIRE (or use the HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com) and...

  • click the offer
  • on the next page click the BOOK NOW link
  • in the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenities
Using the method(s) above can you please confirm the amenities associated with each of these offers, including any 'accessible' amenities, and we'll research each.

Just to confirm, is the Chelsea listing 4* or 4.5*?

Given the amenities and resort fee showing on the detail page for the listing, I'd guess the Roger for the ESB 4*.

Given the fact that the Roger is about $183 + a resort fee, I'd rather recommend the 4.5* MTE for $199 w/Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible.

-- That would be a possible match for the NY Palace, for about the same price as the Roger + the Roger's "resort fee."

Cheslea 4 star

Above you mentioned that the Chelea hotel was 4.5* rated... is that what you meant here as well? If so, i'd agree that the Eventi would be the best guess for this one.

For the ESB property, i'm not confident about this one to make a guess, but i'm seeing a different 4* hotel in this zone for the same listed price (but is ultimately cheaper as there is no resort fee like the one above) and has a better TA rating at 4.5/5.0:

Boutique

Restaurant

Business

Laundry

Blind Accessible

Deaf Accessible

Travel Accessible

Room Accessible

Roll-in Shower

... best guess for this one would be the Kitano.
