I am still thinking about making this trip or not... so far, hotel prices have jumped up to around $116/night between Hotwire and Priceline (as well as LastMinuteTravel). Link to comment

Are you listing prices in USD$ and searching for 2 adults for 9/4, check-out 9/7? Elranzer Posted August 4, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 4, 2015 Using BetterBidding's Bidding Helper and Hotel List, I identified this 3* hotel as the Wyndham New Orleans (French Quarter), and it turned out to be correct. Deal was $99/night. Tried to Priceline bid at $70-$85/night (knowing Wyndham was $99/night) but those kept getting rejected. Went with the Express Deal and got this. Labor Day weekend in the French Quarter is extremely busy, as it hosts the event Southern Decadence, which is the LGBT Mardi Gras. (if I was a few weeks earlier, I could have gotten the Crowne Plaza for $104/night, but I kept putting it off. Oh well.) Link to comment
