Retail rates at the Clift were $165, so a decent savings there. But this was far less expensive than any other option in San Francisco, and as this is a mid-week stay, it's a little surprising that the Clift has rates this low. Tipped off by the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $129, I began bidding USW+USE+SOMA+FD/E 4* for $120. Rebid in increments of $1. Bid accepted at $124 for the exact lowest possible price.
