Hi

I have a friend who liked my deals here and he wants to get some for himself, he needs a double room in Boston from May 28th to 30th. We are flexible on areas here, it is for a first timer with only a couple of days to get a grasp of Boston.

We identifed some option but the prices are quite high so other alternatives you can think of would be very much appreciated!

  • Copley Square - Back Bay area 2.5*
    • Ammeinites: Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Pool(s), Self-service, laundry and Internet access
    • 3.5/5 in trip advisor, with 4.5* for location and 3* for condition of the hotel
    • 75% recommend it
    • $149 down from $209
  • Copley Square - Back Bay area 2*
    • Ammeinites: Pet friendly
    • 4/5 in trip advisor, with 4 for location
    • 80% recommend it
    • $165 down from $219
  • Copley Square - Back Bay area 4*
    • Ammenities: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s) and Self-service laundry
    • 4.5/5 in trip advisor, with 5 for location
    • 90% recommend it
    • $203 down from $415

We selected these as there were the lowest cost but we are open for other areas too.

Many thanks!

Cheers,

Yoel

Please start by updating the threads requested in our reply to your previous thread.

Is there a reason your friend is not posting directly, as it will save time if we are able to directly ask him questions regarding his stay, rather than what for you to act as the intermediary.

As you mention rates are high, is your friend willing to pay $150-$200+ per nite at this point in time?

Hi,

Many thanks! Sorry I forgot to upload the commentary, but I already syubmited the wins. My friend do not have internet access right now so i am doing this for him and will place the offer as well.

Regarding the high prices, do you think they could get lower in the future? If not he is willing to pay for it now..

Looking forward to your commentary and best guess of the hotels.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Yoel

Nobody can say if rates will come down, or move even higher, between now and your trip... but i wouldn't be paying those rates for a 2*/2.5* hotel this far ahead of the stay.

In addition to Copley Square-Back Bay i would also consider:

Beacon Hill - Downtown Boston

West End - TD Garden

Boston Common - Theatre District

I would use our sister site RateDrop to get alerts for the zones above so that you're alerted to any drop in rates for tehse dates at any 3.5* or higher rated hotels... then use RefundableRates.com to book a cancelable backup. This will protect you from rates rising from there as well as give you the opportunity to cancel and take a PRICELINE / HOTWIRE offer should one come along.

Does this plan work for you/your friend?
