thereuare
For the 4* Loop property a guess would be the Hard Rock, but i'm not certain, and AaronJB may be able to offer more/better insight into this one. For the 4.5* River North my guess would be the InterContinental Chicago. I'll also point out that there is another 4.5* in the Loop for $140/nite with a 100% recommendation from previous HOTWIRE guests and a 4.5/5.0 TA rating: Pet Friendly Boutique Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible ... my guess here would be the Hotel Monaco Chicago, should this one be of any interest. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. AaronJB
I'd also guess the Hard Rock as a possible match in this case. In terms of the Intercontinental, it's a nice hotel but I'd much rather the potential Monaco for $6 more. KMR
Good point on the Monaco - I love Kimpton hotels. Link to comment
AaronJB
Good point on the Monaco - I love Kimpton hotels. I'd agree and the differences between the two in terms of location aren't terribly significant. If anything, the Monaco is maybe a tad easier walk to River North and the restaurants/nightlife there. Thank you for keeping us updated on what you decide and please let us know if you have additional questions.
