Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* New Orleans (French Quarter - Bourbon Street) Sheraton New Orleans Hotel

There are two 'French Quarter' zones on HOTWIRE, is this one in the 'French Quarter - Bourbon Street' zone?

If so, I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates:

... if this is what you're seeing, my best guess for this one would be a new amenity set for the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel.

The category was French Quarter/Bourbon Street - I went through with the reservation and it gave me the Sheraton.

 

This was a shocker, as there is no way that the Sheraton is a 4.5 star hotel. I was figuring this was either the MOntelone, Royal Sonesta or the Hyatt French Quarter.

 

I contacted Hotwire, and they siad they now have their own proprietary system, and they raised the rating to 4.5 stars based on the feedback of hotwire uses.

 

This is Bull____.  The Sheraton shows on Hotwire's own system as part of the four star collection.  Sheraton's OWN site rates it 3.9 stars. No other site I can find rates it above four stars.

 

BEWARE EVERYONE - HOTWIRE HAS RERIGGED ITS SYSTEM TO TRICK YOU BY CHANGING THE RATING SYSTEM

 

I contacted Hotwire to protest, but only was able to speak with a low level representative - he said they needed 7-10 days to respond.  I told him that is completely unacceptable, they have falsely represented the product and I needed to hear back from them within 24 hours.  I'll post on this thread if anything else happens.

Hotwire has been completely non-responsive and has not responded to either of my direct phone or email complaints.  They don't care about customer service any more.  They clearly can't be trusted anymore, as they are manipulating ratings to increase their profits. This will be my last transaction with Hotwire, and I recommend others to stay away.
