belindai
Could you also help with the Priceline express deal? 4 nights 11/15-11/-194* Kaanaapali $227/night 8/10Guaranteed Amenities: Indoor or Outdoor PoolPets AllowedFitness CenterFree InternetBusiness CenterAlso, if bidding on Priceline for 4* Kaanapali Lahaina area is it likely to get any of : Kapalua Villas, Hyatt, Sheraton, Westin, Polynesian Shores, Kaanapali Ali (which shows as available in a 4* search)? If Kapalua villas is a possibility I would prefer not to bid as it appears further away from the whalers village central location. Link to comment
thereuare
When bidding on PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you bid. If there is a hotel in the zone you're hoping to avoid, then HOTWIRE or PL express would be a better option. Best guess/comments for each of the HOTWIRE hotels: $195 Ka'anapali area hotel --> Hyatt Regency Maui $236 Kaanapali area condo --> Honua Kai Resort and Spa $227 Kaanapali area resort --> The Westin Maui Resort and Spa For the PRICELINE EXPRESS property my guess would be the Hyatt Regency. It would be appreciated if you used the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase. Good luck and let us know what you decide and how it goes. belindai
The Kaanapali condo $228 hotwire listing doesn't mention a resort fee, whereas it seems there is a resort fee for the honua kai?? Could this mean it may not be the Honua Kai?The Kaanapali resort $227 and hotel $165 hotwire listings do mention a resort fee in their totals. Thanks for your help. Link to comment
thereuare
HOTWIRE usually lists the Resort fee for most (but not all) hotels... this property may not have given the resort fee information to HOTWIRE (or their policy may have recently changed) Even if HOTWIRE doesn't list a resort fee, you're still responsible to pay one, if the hotel does charge one. We can't see the hotel name either so it may be something other than we have guessed, but i feel 'pretty good' about my guess for this one.
