nkcutter
Bid on 3.5 star; bid $57; they offered $70; did not accept.Added 3 star; bid $59; they offered $70; did not accept.Added area without 3 star and bid $61. Accepted by this 3.5 star property. I'm not sure why this Hilton is considered at 3.5 star, I don't like it more than the 3 star properties off of Harmony. It's a bit older, high-rise building, and does have a restaurant downstairs. It is close to the college if you care about that, provides a shuttle to Old Town, and is close to a new transit system stop. $61, with taxes/fees is $75.21 night Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your success! While not your favorite property in this zone, hope you find this to be a good value for the price paid and that you can make it work for your needs. Sometimes hotels are assigned star ratings relative to their peers in the area, and i'm guessing that the 3 star Courtyard and Residence Inn don't have full service restaurants (where as the Hilton and Marriott in this zone do have restaurants), and this may be the reasoning behind the higher half star rating.
