Oops.   I think I started my purchase via an email I got from Hotwire instead of your website.  I apologize.

 

For a couple of weeks I had been bidding on 4-star hotels in the Downtown-Coal Harbor zone up to $85 with no success on Priceline but had also checked Priceline Express Deals and Hotwire deals.  Today I got an email advertising a price drop on Hotwire.  The 5-star listing had gone from $114 to $90.  After some research on your website, I decided to try this listing.  When I made my reservation, the rate had dropped another dollar, to $89.  This is the first time I have used Hotwire, since I think that I normally can get a better deal on Priceline.   However,  I am very pleased with this result.

 

I realize that the time of year has a big impact on Vancouver hotel rates.  The last time I visited Vancouver, August 23-25, I paid $155 for a 3-star hotel in this Shopping and Entertainment zone on Priceline.
