gaucho17
3 nights Oct 24 to Oct 27 Amenities - Free parking, free breakfast, Free internet, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Business Center, Self Service Laundry, Accessible for the Blind Anyone know what this hotel might be? (and if it is near a subway stop for easy transport to Manhattan) $133 is a lot cheaper than the $200-$300 a night for Manhattan hotels the same weekend. Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :) I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Thank you for using the board's HOT.WIRE or PRICE.LINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment

thereuare
Using the method above this is the amenity set i'm seeing for the 3* hotel in this zone: Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Shuttle Fitness Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... if this is what you're seeing my best guess for this property would be the Holiday Inn Express Maspeth, which if correct, is not convenient to the subway. You can get a 3* hotel in Manhattan for ~$150-$170 or a 4* for $165-$185 and although more expensive, i think these would be worth the extra money given you're only in NYC for a few days. If you're not driving where do you arrive/depart from? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes OR how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
gaucho17
I ended up not booking this property that was ID'd. I was able to find a hotel in Long Island City (next to 3 different subway lines) for about $130 a night direct with the hotel as this hotel did not advertise on HOTWIRE / PRICELINE. Thanks for the ID help. Link to comment

Please remember to always follow-up your threads with whatever you end up doing, even if you chose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc. When PRICELINE or HOTWIRE don't work for your needs for a given trip, please book thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com... or thru our Support Page where we have links to most of the major hotel chains and online booking agencies Yellowdog.
