thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages. Best guess for the 3* would be the Rosen Inn Closest To Universal (6327 International Drive)... for the 2.5* my best guess would be the La Quinta Inn Orlando Universal Studios in Orlando. yellowdog
It could always be some other hotel but I second the guess for La Quinta Inn. thereuare
If you're looking for a hotel in a specific location within the zone you can try our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com which shows hotels near almost any location in the world and makes it easy to see how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating OR to stay closer/further from your ideal location. Romelle
And is the resort fee included?? Thanks for the help!! :DPRICELINE doesn't show resort fees, whether or not they might be charged. HOTWIRE usually does though, so sometimes can be used as an indicator. I looked at the nine 2*-3.5* Universal area hotels offered on Ho.twire. Two of the 3.5* hotels had resort fees - $11 and $15 a night. The other 3.5* hotel and all the remaining ones did not show anything. Resort fees are very common in Florida, but not always on the lower star levels. FYI - I'm a member, not a board official. So just my personal opinion and comments. Romelle Link to comment
thereuare
PRICELINE doesn't show resort fees, whether or not they might be charged. When bidding on PRICELINE the Resort fee is not disclosed, but usually any resort fee is disclosed when using PRICELINE EXPRESS (if you look at the booking details, under the fees/taxes, there will be a line item showing additional fees charged by the hotel (this line is only shown if there is an additional fee)). In rare instances there may be an additional fee that is not disclosed by HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS, but both have started to do a 'pretty good' about disclosing them where applicable.
