Looking to book for 10/31 to 11/2...want Midtown East as we have been to NYC several times and my wife really wants to stay in this area.

Hotwire has 4 star BOUTIQUE hotel for $250 per night

OR

4.5 star for $309 per night (said on hotwire that the last person got NY palace)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Best guess for the 4* would be the W New York.. for the 4.5* the Omni Berkshire Hotel or The New York Palace would be likely.

Went with the boutique 4 star hotel for $250....Was hoping for anything but the W and got.....you guessed it....the W...not terrible but we stayed in the W in financial district once and the rooms are way too small modern for my taste....but then again who goes to NYC to sit in the room.

It was a great deal in the end.

Good luck to all.

Congratulations on your success!

While not your first choice in the zone, glad to see you're pleased with the hotel for the price paid.

You're also near my often recommended Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city, makes for a nice, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast among local NYers.

Thank you for sharing your win with the board.
