Country Inn and Suites, Itasca on Hotwire, actually in Elk Grove Village.  Won Today.

 

Was hoping to get a great rate here ..... We like staying in this area. We have a car.  Boy do I appreciate this website, invaluable.  $66 dollars is close to a third off the retail rate for this time of the year.  Its near the mall, IKEA, variety of great restaurants,  and the freeway.   As a sports fan, I like big sports bar / pizza place next door. Perfect.

 

Amenties matched your listings.  4 out of 5 star customer ratings on Tripadvisor,  matches Hotwire info.

Thank you for the follow-up. I agree about the location - I'd suggest IKEA's 99c breakfast special, but this property provides free breakfast. I'll also suggest Wildfire, which has a location nearby (I haven't tried that location, but the locations I've tried have all been very good.)
