mst1212
Our first trip to San Francisco, we are staying 3 nights before heading to Sonoma, going to Alcatraz on Friday afternoon and a Giants game on Saturday night, sight seeing both Saturday and Sunday, we currently have reservations at Hotel Nikko, I would like to try and bid on Priceline, think I could get something under $200 per night? Our current rate is $345 per night at Nikko. Also any advice on strategy would be welcome, I have read most anything I can find on rebids. Any recommendations for another area? Our current reservations are Union square west, but after reading several reviews I am alittle worried about bidding in the West. Thoughts? Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Unfortunately, I don't think under $200 per night is going to be possible, as San Fran is busy/expensive during these dates. $235-255 is probably more along the lines of what it will take for a 4* win in these areas. Would that be acceptable? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
mst1212
I think so, I found a 3.5 Union square east, 95% rating, free internet, boutique, resturant, $265 secret deal, this is still a $250 savings...I will try to bid at your recommend rates and if not look at the express and secret deals, I appreciate the reply Link to comment
thereuare
If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages. If you let us know which zones (by PRICELINE name) are acceptable, along with your maximum bid, we will suggest a strategy for you to follow. Also, did you first want to try for a 4* up to your limit and then if rejected try for a 3.5*... OR is the goal the least expensive 3.5* or better hotel for this trip? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
