vanhelsig
Hi, I'm from germany and will travel to New York from 24th -30th Oct. 2014. And now I'm looking for a nice hotel, close to Times Square or Midtown central. It should have 4 or more stars.Found this on hotwire: Midtown Central areaHotels in our 4.5-star collectionFree Internet, Fitness Center, Restaurants,Hotwire customer reviews65%recommended(9 total reviews)286 USD per night. Do you think, it's the Sofitel? If you know another nice hotel in the same price range or cheaper, please let me know. Should I book a room now, or should I wait?Do you have any advise? It'm first time with booking on hotwire. The regular rates for Hotels in New York are crazy, for Oct. := ThxSalim Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! I'm doubetful that this is the Sofitel as this property only has 6 reviews from previos HOTWIRE guests (the Sofitel would likely have more) and also only has a 65% recommendation from previous HOTWIRE guests (again, the Sofitel would likely have a higher recomemeendaton).... more likely this is a new property recently addded to the HOTWIRE system. To get started, I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? vanhelsig
Hi, thx for fast reply. I tried your link. The only hotel with 4.5 stars I see is fro 299 USD. The Full amenities are: Free Internet, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Internet access But, when I click on the Button continue I get the message: We couldn't process your request Did i something wrong? Sorry for my english, I'm from germany :) Is there any hotel you would recommend? I prefer Hotels like: Sofitel, Hyatt oder Intercontinantal or Hilton (not Garden Inn) Thx Link to comment
thereuare
If you're having an issue with the links thru BiddingHelper.com, try clicking the links in the EASY VIEW tab first (before clicking any other links on the page) as sometimes the links in one tab will 'break' the links in another tab. The London NYC would be one possibility, but with amenities so common, it's difficult to say with any degree of confidence which one this may be. If you're flexible in the hotel you will receive are you interested in bidding on PRICELINE? (but you'll have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you bid. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. vanhelsig
Unfortunately I'm not so flexible. It's my first time in NY and I do not want any hotel, that has no good standard. That's why I'm looking for Hyatt, Sofitel, Hilton (not Garden Inn) Intercontinental or similiar. No suggestion for me?Priceline would be also fine. But the hotel rates are much higher, than with HOTWIRE.The London NYC would be great. But how can I be sure, not getting another (worse) hotel)I cant find a list with all 4.5 Stars Hotel in NY from HOTWIRE.I saw it also could be The Park Lane Hotel, in that case, it would be no good deal. thereuare
I'm seeing what appears to be The Muse for $316/nite on PRICELINE EXPRESS... would this be of any interest?
