Priceline Hotel: 4*-5* Bali hotel for July 2-7

I'm looking to book a 4-5 star hotel in Bali from July 2-7. I see the priceline list only has the 5* Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali. The SPG website has a price of $165/nt. What is the recommended bidding strategy? Thank you.

I see the priceline list only has the 5* Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali.

Note the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List in the sense that the lists only contain hotels reported to the board... there could always be others that have not yet been reported OR which have recently been upgraded/downgrade.

I assume you're looking to bid the Nusa Dua - Benoa zone? Are any other zones acceptable? Are you willing to pay more for a 5* vs. a 4* OR is the goal this trip the least expensive 4* or better for this stay? Given the hotel direct rate of the Westin at $165/nite, how high would you be willing to bid for a 5* property?

I see there's not a lot of Price.line / Hot.wire data on Bali. I'd be willing to pay $100 for the Westin which is asking $165. I only want the Nusa Dua zone but my concern is getting a hotel I've never heard of.

When bidding on PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating or higher that you bid... are you comfortable with an opaque purchase for this trip?

Thanks but since I'm going with the family, I don't feel comfortable taking that risk. I'm just going to book with full rate.
