Date bid won: 8/19/2014

 

Started the bid at $120 per night. Once my bid rose above $150 per night, I moved up in increments of $5 and eventually my bid at $170 per night was accepted by Price.line. 

 

This was a pretty easy one because i believe the US Grant is currently the only 5-star hotel in Gaslamp and there were many parts of the city that did not have any 5-star hotels, so you have a lot of room for trial and error.
