My wife & I are attending a show at The Chicago Theatre one the nights. I am hoping to book at around $1250/night or less. I look forward to any help you can be. Additionally, while the show is in the Loop area, did you want to stay in the Loop area, or are you going to be spending a lot of time North of the river (and would rather then stay there?) As we have made no other plans & never been to Chicago, I figured the general areas around the Chicago Theatre- Loop, Downtown, Mag.Mile-River North. My main thought is to have the nicest hotel within our budget that is convenient to good shopping, restaurants, sights, etc. We certainly are not opposed to public transportation, but would rather keep such trips as short as possible.
