The "original price" isn't Hot.wire giving away the price of the underlying hotel. That price is a compilation of comparable hotels in the nearby area, so it's not an indicator of the underlying hotel.

 

Additionally, the "last person got..." is not the underlying hotel, it's the last hotel someone won in that zone at that star rating. That may or may not be the hotel mentioned.

 

I'm seeing a different 4* in the Downtown Toronto West zone when searching for these dates - do you still seeing the above listing? If so, how many people are you searching for?

I just checked again, and Hotwire is showing a different "original price". My original listing is gone, and the amenities have changed. Thank you for the insight on the pricing. I understood the "last person got..." I'm searching for 1 room. 2 people. Do u have any idea what this new listing likely is?
