chaddosan
Prices seem to be high on these dates on Hotwire, etc. Target budget is $150 per room or $300 for one that comfortably slept 4. We're very flexible. We can either do 1 room with 4 people or 2 rooms with 2 each. Free or cheap parking would be beneficial, as we are driving into the city from up-state. We would like relatively easy subway access so we can get around the city for touring. Would prefer Manhattan but if all else fails would consider Hoboken and the Path/Water Taxi.If we can't find anything for our target budget we'll adjust our stay to the 15th-17th. Haven't stayed in the city for a long time, so we're very open to suggestions and locations. Thanks! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. Parking is somewhat more reasonable at a couple of hotels in Hell's Kitchen, but there are no hotels that offer free parking in the city and most properties are likely going to charge $50-60 or higher per night for parking.Which zone/s would be acceptable in Manhattan? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
thereuare
In addition to the above, what is your minimum star rating? Unfortunately current rates are somewhat high for your dates and your best/closest option seems to be 2 rooms at what appears to be the Salisbury Hotel (MTC zone) for $179/nite. If you were going to put 4 in a room, would one bed + a pullout sofabed (or rollaway) be acceptable? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
