I am looking at a 4* pet friendly boutique hotel in the back bay Boston 10/24-26   shows $263   Any idea what this hotel is?

Both the discount services really require some flexibility, as with Hot.wire (for example), you have to pick from what the service is offering for your dates - which is often one hotel per star rating. Are you only looking for the Elliot hotel or do you have some flexibility as to where you may stay?

Currently the Eliot Hotel is $485/nite for your dates, and a centrally located 4* hotel can be had for less than $250/nite, a 3.5* for less than $185/nite... so it comes down to if you're willing to pay nearly $500/nite for the hotel you want OR if you'd rather save $200+ per nite for a 'good' hotel in a 'good' location.

If you only want a specific hotel but currently aren't willing to pay the $500 price tag you can sign up for alerts for this specific property using the 'NAMED HOTELS' tab at RateDrop, and you'll receive an email should the price fall below the amount you designate as your 'buy point' (although it would take a pretty sharp drop in prices for the price to go from $485 to less than $300/nite)
